About Your Author
Hello! I'm Ekiuwa Aire, a Nigerian-Canadian cultural connector who is passionate about building love and knowledge of African history and culture with all kids.
I started Our Ancestories and became a storyteller when I saw that there weren't many different kinds of children's books, especially ones about African history.
I started writing books because I wanted to teach my own kids about their history. Now, I'm excited and honored to be able to use my books to help keep African heritage and culture alive.
Here at Our Ancestories, we believe that stories mold what the future looks like. Hence, creating books that inspire heritage appreciation and preservation can create world changers.
